Film Documentary “Sound Of The Surf” Needs Your Help
by Gordy Grundy

Tom Duncan is producing a documentary film about the story of surf music titled “Sound Of The Surf”. Dick Dale, the Rendezvous Ballroom, Newport Beach etc, play a large part of the film.

We are seeking additional photographs, home movies, newspaper clippings etc related to the topic. We could use pictures of Bal-week, police officers, etc. Maybe a lot of items that one might not think are useful, as well as Rendezvous interior and exterior shots and the surrounding areas. Here is a website which tells a little bit, we are going to have a new website with trailer and promos etc soon.

Please let me know if you think you could assist us in locating visual materials.

Many thanks,
